The Program Manager I is responsible for delivery and performance of company Products and Services as well as the overall customer relationship and/or supporting more Senior Program Managers responsible for the same. The responsibility of a Program Manager I starts at Program inception and can continue through delivery and field performance. Within the life of a Program, there may be many smaller projects which the Program Manager I will oversee. This individual oversees all data preparation and collection for the project, both internally and externally. They will be expected to interface with other departments to prepare cost justifications, recommend priorities, generate schedules and develop solutions to customer issues. This individual ensures completion of detailed schedules and action lists for projects from initiation to delivery and keeps management informed of any deviations. This individual monitors status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing; and requires familiarization with project monitoring and reporting systems. They are to act as an advisor to more Senior Program Managers when in a supporting role. 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Oversight of the performance of the product and/or services provided to Airbus to ensure quality performance of our products 
  • Oversight in the management of the design/development process of the HBC+ program to deliver products and services to Airbus 
  • Daily management of team execution for the delivery or the maintenance of performance standards of our products of services 
  • Daily management of the project schedule including modifications to the execution strategies to ensure on time delivery 
  • Action Item oversight and management 
  • Support to Senior Program Managers as required in similar duties 
  • Represent the company during onsite/offsite customer meetings and advise Management accordingly  

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field 
  • 0-3 years of experience in a similar role in performance management and/or delivery of company products and services 
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a professional environment 
  • Experience with project management or project scheduling 
  • Experience working with cross-functional groups 

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $84,500 - $95,000 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
