We're looking for a Program Manager to join the Healthcare (HC) Product team to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Here's what you need to know about the role, our team, and why Flatiron Health is the right next step in your career.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be a key member of the HC Product team, responsible for driving execution of high-impact, cross-functional programs, including essential regulatory projects, and building the operational infrastructure that enables our product teams to deliver high-quality work at scale. You'll work closely with product and engineering leaders, initiative leads, and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to ensure our most critical programs are well-scoped, well-managed, and aligned with Flatiron's strategic goals.
In particular, this role will lead efforts to meet new regulatory and certification requirements requiring coordinated cross-functional efforts across our product, engineering, quality management, legal and customer-facing teams. This role will also own and drive optimization across core aspects of our product development life cycle including our roadmapping processes, facilitation of cross functional meetings, and maintenance of regulatory certification status across various products. You'll also:
- Lead cross-functional programs that support strategic initiatives across HC Product, including regulatory programs, go-to-market readiness, and product lifecycle improvements
- Develop end-to-end program plans, including scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource needs
- Manage regulatory product launches and go-to-market execution
- Identify operational bottlenecks and areas for efficiency improvements; work with product leaders to develop solutions to increase team productivity
- Facilitate program governance, including stakeholder alignment, decision-making, and risk mitigation
- Own and run business-critical regulatory and interoperability programs, including customer-facing communications, internal alignment, investment allocation, and staying up to date with regulatory requirements.
- Partner with initiative leads and product managers to ensure consistent execution and accountability across programs
- Communicate program status, risks (including mitigations), and decisions clearly and regularly to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and operational excellence across the HC Product team
Who You Are
You're a strategic, detail-oriented program manager with a passion for building systems and processes that help teams work better together. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You're a kind, passionate, and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact. You also have:
- 3-5+ years of experience in program management, operations, or project management, ideally in a product or technical environment
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
- Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and tailor messaging to different audiences, including end customers
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with a bias for action and a focus on outcomes
- Self-starting, skilled and excited at learning new, complex, and technical domains quickly and independently
- Capable of reading and comprehending complex regulatory documentation at a high-level, getting to the most important questions to deblur efficiently
- Comfort operating independently and making decisions with limited information
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders
Extra credit:
- Experience in health tech (EHR), healthcare, or regulated environments
- Knowledge of healthcare regulation, such as CMS regulatory programs (e.g. MIPS, EOM) or familiarity with ASTP's certification requirements, including the Cure Act, HTI-1, etc.
- Experience with product development processes and tools
