Some days you will be deep in technical reviews with designers and engineers. Other days you’ll be reviewing readiness with marketing, sales, and customer support. Working alongside Product Management, you will own program execution – building and leading cross-functional teams of stakeholders to deliver your products on time, on budget, and with the highest quality experience possible for customers.  As owner of these efforts, you will oversee all aspects of new product development, go-to-market planning, product acceptance testing, and post launch monitoring.

 What you’ll be doing

  • Performing rapid and ongoing assessments of program risks
  • Developing/executing recommendations, accelerating the outcomes, and managing change effectively
  • Synthesizing overall program status from multiple inputs
  • Conveying key information to executive management in a concise way
  • Managing critical decision making, exploring and implementing contingency plans, and ensuring cross-functional alignment throughout the development process
  • Identifying and driving process improvements that reduce risk and improve efficiency for all aspects of new product development
  • Developing and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders, understanding the business and navigating within the organization to drive programs effectively

We’re excited if you have

  • 6+ years in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain program management, or Management Consulting with technical undergrad degree
  • An MS/BS ideally in engineering or related technical discipline
  • Track record in customer-facing roles
  • The flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment…no two days at Roku are ever the same
  • Solid chops in leading the delivery of multiple cross-functional and multi-workstream programs
  • A track record of leading R&D efforts and bringing new hardware and software technologies to market
  • Experience launching global consumer products - B2C or B2B2C
  • Insatiable curiosity…you ask lots of questions and go searching for answers

The Roku Culture

Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. We believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We’re independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.

We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
