Reporting to the Senior Director, ERP Delivery, this role is to act as “2IC” and manage the core program operations of the Genesis program and team in a Global, end-to-end cross-functional delivery. The role will coordinate concurrent design, build, test, change management, cutover and deliver of a complex ERP replacement program into 60 countries, replacing ~45+ existing ERP variants.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities

Act as “2IC” to the Senior Director, ERP Delivery (Director) when the Director is out-of-region or time-zone or as directed.

Run the operational “machine” of the program implementing Strategy as directed by the Director

Provide leadership and oversight of the program operations to ensure the successful delivery in accordance with the project plan and objectives, within approved budget constraints.

Engage program participants to ensure clear communication, alignment of expectations, clear work instructions such that teams are empowered to deliver according to project requirements.

Manage and work with the team to develop program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control, ensuring all project components are executed effectively.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the program, implementing contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure program continuity.

Direct and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and organizational changes resulting from program deliverables.

Maintain quality standards across all program deliverables, ensuring consistency, compliance with organizational policies, and alignment with industry best practices.

Manage the allocation of work across teams in a cost-effective way to maximize return on project investment.

Monitor and report on program performance metrics, to support updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the program, implementing a continuous improvement regime.

Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and contribute effectively to program success.

Ensure that the program adheres to organizational governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Minimum
-
Degree (or equivalent) with significant broad based, commercial experience including extensive project management
-
Full Project Lifecycle Management
-
IT solution development life cycle knowledge
-
Considerable experience in team management
-
Formal training in project management
-
Extensive experience in delivering successful ERP systems, migrations and upgrades.

Experience working with large global Systems Integration Partners
-
Addresses issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of own function and related disciplines.
Preferred

Significant Program Management experience gained in an IT, Product Development, Manufacturing or Supplier Management environment

Medical or Pharmaceutical industry background, including direct experience of application of GxP practices Experience across all facets of ERP (Financial, Order Management, Invoice and Cash processing, Fulfilment, Procurement, Warehouse and distribution, Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service.)

Vendor management experience, from planning through vendor selection, project execution and closure, in an engineering and/or IT solution delivery environment

Post Graduate qualification or MBA
