Overview:
M&T Bank is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead strategic cloud transformation initiatives. This role requires expertise in cloud strategy, application migration, organizational change, target operating models, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will drive cloud adoption at scale, ensure operational readiness, and align technology initiatives with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Strategy & Execution

Define and implement enterprise-wide cloud strategies.

Secure executive approval and funding for cloud adoption.

Ensure seamless integration of cloud technologies with existing infrastructure.

Align cloud initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Application Migration & Operational Readiness

Lead large-scale cloud migrations and modernization efforts.

Partner with engineering and application teams to drive cloud adoption.

Establish governance frameworks to ensure smooth cloud transitions.
Organizational Change Management

Drive IT transformation across global financial organizations.

Develop and implement change management strategies.

Build and lead high-performing teams to support technology initiatives.
Target Operating Model Design & Implementation

Develop IT and business operating models to improve agility and efficiency.

Design governance frameworks and resource planning models.

Optimize IT structures to support strategic objectives.
Regulatory & Policy Compliance

Ensure compliance with financial regulations while driving innovation.

Influence regulatory frameworks to support digital transformation.

Advise on regulatory risks and cloud adoption strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of experience in cloud strategy, IT program management, or digital transformation.
Expertise in application migration, cloud adoption, and IT operating models.
Strong leadership skills with experience driving organizational change.
Knowledge of financial services regulations and governance frameworks.
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
