As a Project Manager on our team, you will create comprehensive action plans and roadmaps to direct resources, budgets and timeframes for projects. You will perform various coordination duties such as scheduling and leading of meetings, ongoing stakeholder support and leadership reviews. You will program manage multiple projects concurrently ongoing. This will include working directly with partners to ensure deliverables are met consistently on time. You will also support the team by managing all incoming partnership requests, ensuring that they are properly scoped and budgeted to ensure timely delivery. Lastly, you may also support the creation of a partnership clearinghouse and capacity strategy, in conjunction with Googlers to ensure staffing needs are met.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end project coordination in collaboration with various gTech Ads cross functional teams for new content launches, user migrations and turn-downs. You will partner with other Project Managers to determine training needs, be a subject matter expert and help drive partnerships across Google

  • Work with global process owners to help drive standardization and change management of scoping processes. Communicate process changes to impacted team members

  • Identify key stakeholders, schedule and facilitate project team meetings, create gantt charts, project timelines. Work cross-functionally with teams within Prod Ops to ensure critical paths are on track. Assist Product Managers, Ops Leads, Technical Leads and peers with allocation planning, track deliverables and task completion and follow up on action items

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals. Send out routine communications about the overall project/program status for the various stakeholder groups, both internally and externally with key partners 

  • Coordinate regularly with multiple stakeholders to support the production process. Help troubleshoot and recommend both short and long-term solutions to production bugs

  • Review output from production teams and validate against stakeholder direction, docs, and/or samples and update and maintain documentation and project trackers as needed. Report project statuses to the wider PgM team regularly

Minimum Qualifications

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:

  • Overall 5+ years working experience including project management roles, performing quality audits, coordinating projects across multiple organizations/global functional teams.

  • Working with varied stakeholders on complex project plan creation, estimation, business process mapping, flow charting and diagrams, and business reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate skills on Google Sheets, Slides is preferred

  • Working knowledge of Google Sites, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Appscript is a plus
