Leidos' Decision Analysis Business Area within the Defense Sector has an immediate opening for a Program Financial Analyst, Principal. In this role, you will serve as a critical member of the team and help define the program’s financial goals and objectives; create and maintain a program's budget, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage internal financial planning and analysis activities regarding the internal reporting for the $1.5B Hybrid Sentinel Contract
- Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all contract cost and financial data
- PMX System Administration and Leading of PMX Training (Train the Trainer role)
- Construction of Reports and PowerBI dashboards to aid in the display of program information to both internal and potentially external audiences
- Spearhead Sentinel Business Process Reengineering Efforts interacting with Sentinel program
- Support monthly closing of financial key measurements (Revenue, Operating Income, Operating Cash Flow, etc…)
- Participate in the development of program level processes and procedures to drive efficiencies
- Significant interaction with the Program Manager, Business Managers, Contracts team, Customer, and various other functional or support organizations
- Serve as liaisons between the Program Team and TDP project performing teams to perform financial research
- Support new business proposal efforts, assisting pricing strategy and business case analysis as needed.
- Support ad hoc requests by internal management and external customers
- Ability to work independently, or in a team environment and with various organizational levels
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Program Finance experience with multiple contract types
- Strong MS Office skills, in particular MS Excel
- PowerBi, PowerPivot and Advanced Data Reporting
- Ability to Learn Python and other data analysis, manipulation and automation skills
- Strong organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to identify financial drivers and perform high level and detailed analysis
- Extremely high level of attention to detail
- Customer focused
- Able to work successfully in a team environment
- Prior experience with government contracting industry.
- Prior experience, redesigning business processes
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as: CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Insight.
- Prior FP&A Experience…preferably at Leidos
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Python Programming Intermediate Proficiency
