Leidos is seeking a Program Finance Analyst who will be responsible for the financial aspects of programs in support of a wide range of customers. This position will be in the Civil Group, under the Commercial Energy Services Operation, focused on a large volume of complex direct projects in the Power Delivery Services Division.

The PFA will possess a working knowledge of multiple contract types, tools, and processes to monitor performance and ensure policy and program compliance. They may participate in new business proposals. Significant interaction with a large team to support the objectives of the assigned programs.

This position will have significant impact on the program’s operational accomplishments and will be responsible for specific processes within the programs. This position requires an organized and experienced problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analyses of complex, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions.

The consulting group of approximately 100 employees is primarily engaged in private sector power opportunities and offers consulting services, independent engineering services, mergers & acquisition consulting, market analysis, and transmission study services. Our highly knowledgeable engineers and consultants work across functions to collaborate and challenge each other to innovate for our clients.

Location: Candidate must be located within the US.

The Challenge:

  • Organize and lead the project setup, monitoring, invoicing, estimating, and closeout processes
  • Serve as liaison between the Program Team and cross-functional departments to manage financial performance
  • Act as an individual contributor, proficient in applying established standards
  • Work with limited supervision to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results
  • Responsible for entire projects or processes within the selected areas.
  • Develop solutions to problems and issues that are unclear and require thorough analyses and understanding of domain knowledge
  • Communicate with colleagues across multiple functional areas
  • Exercise independent judgement in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and contribute through statistical reporting, analysis, estimates, and auditing

What Sets You Apart: (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree with two plus (2+) years of relevant experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Basic knowledge of multiple contract types: (CPAF, CPFF, FFP, T&M)
  • Attention to high level of detail
  • Able to work successfully in a dynamic environment with remotely located teammates.

You Might Also have:

  • Expereince in Costpoint, BART, PACMN, and/or Oracle Business Intelligence
  • Advanced skills with MS Excel
  • Expereince in a project support role, with focus on financial analyst and Estimates at completion (EACs)
  • Knowledge of Leidos Financial Systems and Processes

Program Budget Salary: $69,000 to $80,000

Pay Range:Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
