The Air Dominance Finance organization is seeking a Senior Business Manager (M5) to support financial management for the Precision Strike portfolio of programs, including the Paveway, Griffin, HARM, and Maverick munitions programs throughout their production lifecycle.

The Senior Business Manager will lead a team of financial analysts and support program and functional stakeholders with Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and program performance activities.

This position is hybrid in Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is available.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead financial management activities for assigned programs, including forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, including assigning work and reviewing deliverables.
  • Coordinate with Program Management and cross-functional teams on EAC, Risk and Opportunity (R&O) tracking, and investment planning.
  • Prepare financial analyses and present financial results to leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, customers, and U.S. government representatives on program financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee cost control, financial planning, and financial reporting processes across assigned programs.
  • Coordinate investment planning and tracking with multiple stakeholders.
  • Support financial planning, analysis, and governance activities across assigned programs.
  • Execute Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Planning (LRP) processes.
  • Support program financial reviews and reporting activities.
  • Monitor program financial performance and provide variance analysis to program leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience leading teams of finance professionals, including assigning work and reviewing deliverables.
  • Experience managing financial activities across multiple programs or production environments.
  • Experience with Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), and Long Range Planning (LRP) processes.
  • Experience managing financial priorities and established deadlines.

  • Experience working in a production environment.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
