The Job/What You'll Do:

Program Content Specialist is critical in developing, updating, and managing content for business consulting materials and programs at AssetMark. This position goes beyond traditional program and project management by requiring a deep commitment to learning the intricacies of our business consulting offerings. In this role, you will support and enhance the business consulting and marketing programs available to AssetMark advisors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong research skills, and possess high expertise in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat to ensure that all content and tools are meticulously maintained and continuously improved.

This is a full-time position in our Concord, CA office with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all business consulting tools, templates, presentations, and resources are meticulously maintained, updated, and compliant with firm and department brand guidelines. Apply branding standards consistently across all materials to reinforce AssetMark’s brand identity
  • Work closely with Business Consultants, senior leadership, marketing teams, and other departments to ensure seamless content delivery and program execution. Act as the bridge between content development and business consulting delivery
  • Conduct effective demo calls to showcase marketing strategies and services to proprietary platform users. Tailor presentations to address each client's unique needs and goals, highlighting the value of solutions
  • Manage enrollment and onboarding of advisors to proprietary platforms to ensure utilization and implementation of suggested marketing tactics
  • Load and manage content into the proprietary platform in a timely, detailed, and efficient way, adhering to style directives and content conventions
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of client-facing content, ensuring tracking, reporting, compliance, and version management
  • Conduct ongoing industry research to identify relevant data, insights, and best practices that can enhance the quality of business consulting content
  • Align existing materials with the latest research or develop new content as needed
  • Manage the execution of business consulting programs and initiatives with a strong emphasis on content
  • Develop and maintain detailed program and project plans and timelines, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery
  • Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of business consulting content and materials. Use data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance the overall impact
  • Invest time in learning the full spectrum of business consulting programs, with the potential to transition into a business consulting role based on performance and interest

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be a self-starter, take the initiative with the ability to think critically and creatively, display intellectual curiosity, and master complex subject matter quickly
  • The ability to apply logical thinking principles to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Define clear objectives for challenges, collect appropriate information, and develop action plans that result in workable solutions
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office®, particularly Excel PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
  • An awareness of graphic design best practices and familiarity with visual storytelling
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in content management and project execution
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to prioritize projects and work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Willingness to invest time in learning and understanding the ins and outs of business consulting programs, focusing on content excellence
  • Ability to learn and apply AssetMark’s branding standards to all content and materials created
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of monitoring and completing various projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding strategic thinking skills with a focus on results and impact
  • Superior oral and written communication skills; strong sense of emotional intelligence with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization to create buy-in and a sense of teamwork
  • Efficient with a strong work ethic
  • Prepared to share a writing sample
  • Strong understanding of small business consulting principles, strategies, and solutions preferred
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a service mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment preferred

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or directly related experience
  • Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management within financial services, practice management, or business consulting preferred
  • Experience in content creation, management, and optimization within a consulting or professional services environment preferred

Compensation: The base range for this position is between $80,000-95,000.

This information reflects a base compensation range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
