What you'll be doing…

You will be working with cross functional teams within the wholesale carrier space to provide support for all projects. In this role, you will manage a large portfolio of projects that align to the organization's top priorities to drive revenue and/or cost savings. This will include communicating deadlines and providing information to account teams and customers to make the project successful. You will be responsible for the tracking, communication and coordination of project tasks within your team. You must exhibit outstanding organization, communication, and leadership skills. Partnership and collaboration with multiple organizations is also a key component of this position. You will be a main point of contact for all projects within the VPS organization and manage all aspects through each stage. You may not know all the answers, but you are able to work through challenges by independently researching potential solutions, collaborating with others, and iterating to find alternatives. You will enforce your team's process, Verizon's Corporate Policy Statements and uphold the Verizon Credo while working with a large and diverse corporate environment. You will work with all levels of management, including executive leadership, so strong communication skills are required. You will establish partnerships within the product organization, our partner organizations and Stakeholders. In this role responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead efforts across the PM Team, Solutions Engineering, PMO, SMO, Marketing and Sales for all projects assigned to VPS.

  • Drive teamwork within a team of Project Managers and Solution Architect Engineers to make certain strategy, goals and priorities are in alignment for all projects to deliver the desired results.

  • Collaborate with the SMO, PMO, Solutions Engineering, Service Assurance and Sales on all projects with the ability to adapt to change due to the fast paced environment.

  • Create and manage assigned portfolio of projects and Project Manage them end to end

  • Review, distribute and manage workload to ensure milestones and deliverables are met for all projects

  • Facilitate team meetings and cross-functional trainings with teams within VPS

  • Present and communicate to all levels of the business

  • Data integrity management and reporting, plus tracking of project dates and timelines.

  • Google site and content management.

  • Provide clear, consistent direction, pragmatic problem-solving techniques as well as encouragement and constructive criticism.

  • Solve problems by digging into the details to determine root causes, quantifying impact, & pursuing impactful solutions.

  • Consult with Sales, Solutions Engineering and Marketing on critical account level strategies during circuit and service migrations to find VzB product solutions.

  • Voice of the Customer feedback, Marketing collaborations, internal sales presentations to leadership team and participation in cross functional internal projects.

  • Share effective tactics with Sales, Marketing and Sales Support.

  • Engage as a core team member from the PM team on any discussions, initiatives, working sessions as it pertains to assigned projects.

  • Full ownership and management of customer inquiries pre and post migration.

  • Onboard of new team members. Document all processes and systems related to all specific projects.

  • Assist in any cross functional initiatives and discussions to ensure business requirements, test plans, end user communication and tracking metrics are implemented for individual projects.

  • Lead, coach and manage the customer service, marketing and Sales teams positioning in process / procedures to drive efficiencies.

  • Ensure representation as a customer advocate is maintained during discussions that will have a customer impact, including but not limited to IT, Network Planning, Marketing, PLM and outside plant, to ensure an overall provisioning, assurance, billing and operational positive experience is maintained.

  • Regular and proactive customer communications to ensure all customer concerns are addressed.

  • Define and manage project activities to meet VZ goals for financial performance.

What we're looking for…

You'll need to have:

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Four or more years of program or project management experience.

  • Knowledge of Product or product life cycle management experience

  • Project Management experience with experience deploying and delivering complex solutions.

  • Full knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Google.

  • Knowledge of VZB, VZT and fXO Products

  • Experience and knowledge of systems such as SFDC/Apptus, VECRM, Contract Viewer, Customer 360, Customer Insight, TCOMS, F&E,WFS, TIRKS, TBS/Dashvue, ALT and Cross Reference.

  • Business product lifecycle management experience.

  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $96,000.00 and $179,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
