Job Description
Product/Strategic Marketing Engineer - Etch
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assessment of existing and potential markets, coordination of technical product development, development of product strategies, definition of promotional activities, and product launch.
- Activities may include technical sales support; product advertising/promotion; planning, developing, and implementing multiple channel programs; and directing the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s).
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.
- Monitors the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.
- Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans.
- Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.
- Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions.
- Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
- Set goals, provide direction to the team as needed
- Travel requirements: 40-50% both domestically and internationally.
Typical Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of related experience; or Master's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or Associate's Degree with 8 years of related experience; or 12 years of experience in lieu of degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship.
- Must have 10+ years of semiconductor device and/or integration experience.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
