Products Communications Specialist

The Product Communications Specialist serves as the connective layer between product, marketing, and client-facing teams — ensuring product changes are clearly communicated and trained on internally and externally, that sales and marketing materials stay product-aligned, and that client-focused decisions across product and marketing are grounded in reliable data.

WHAT WILL I DO?

Communication & Enablement

  • Serve as the connective layer between product, marketing, sales, and client-facing teams on releases, roadmap changes, and product updates.
  • Draft release notes, FAQs, launch readiness checklists, and internal/client-facing announcements.
  • Translate technical product detail into audience-appropriate messaging for internal teams, clients, and leadership.

Product Training

  • Build and maintain training materials (guides, decks, walkthroughs) for new and existing products/features.
  • Coordinate onboarding and enablement sessions for internal teams (sales, support, client success).
  • Keep a knowledge base current as products evolve.

Marketing Support

  • Partner with marketing to develop product-related content: one-pagers, sales enablement collateral, and various other channel-appropriate materials.
  • Ensure marketing materials accurately reflect product functionality and positioning.
  • Support go-to-market coordination for new releases (messaging, timing, alignment).
  • Assist in campaign development by contributing product expertise, messaging input, and content drafting. Support and collaborate on the creative and visual design work owned by the Marketing team.
  • Marketing responsibilities are specific to product launches and product-driven decisions.

Data & Analytics

  • Build and maintain recurring dashboards and reports that surface product usage, adoption, and performance data, including service attachment rate and sales/account manager performance against attachment targets, to support product strategy, roadmap decisions, marketing campaigns, and training initiatives.
  • Partner with product leadership to define and monitor KPIs/OKRs across the product portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Power BI is required; this role owns the reporting layer, not the underlying data infrastructure.

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • Minimum two years in product operations, product marketing, technical communication or a related cross-functional role.
  • Experience building training/enablement content.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a closely related field.
  • Hands-on proficiency with data/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar), able to build and maintain dashboards independently without analyst support.
  • Clear written and verbal communicator, able to adapt tone across internal, client, and leadership audiences.
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and priorities in a fast-moving product environment.
  • Prior experience with Advertising Agency preferred.
  • Residence in the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan area, Hybrid, 3 days a week in office.

What You Bring.

  • A connective mindset: energized by being the layer that keeps product, marketing, and client-facing teams aligned and informed.
  • Passion for building training and enablement content that reduces repetitive support and enablement questions.
  • Comfort turning technical product detail into clear, audience-appropriate messaging for internal teams, clients, and leadership.
  • A data-driven approach: partnering with product leadership to define KPIs/OKRs and ensure metrics are trusted and actively used in decisions.

What We Do

Yes, we confess, we’re fleet geeks and proud of it. We live for the opportunity to help you build and manage a lean, mean, safe and productive fleet. We’re excited to put six decades of fleet expertise to work for you every day, in every way, to help you rein in your fleet costs, free up your cash flow, and transform your fleet into a force that nails your business goals, elevates your customer service, and gives you a competitive advantage. Unlike some fleet management companies, we treat you as an invaluable client, no matter what size your fleet is. Our nimble, knowledgeable team is always ready to personally respond to your questions and concerns. We won’t ignore you after the “honeymoon phase” has past. Instead, we partner with you for the long-haul, learning everything we need to know about your business and fleet to consistently match your needs with the ideal vehicles, truck and van equipment, financing and management services. We are geared up to provide you with ongoing, proactive support, including an in-depth analysis of your fleet usage, expenditures and needs on an annual basis. We measure this data against industry benchmarks and recommend enhancements that will optimize your fleet operations, lower your total cost of ownership, increase your brand awareness, and prepare your fleet for the road ahead. We offer end-to-end fleet services including flexible, personalized leasing and financing, vehicle acquisition and upfitting, remarketing, electrification, maintenance management, fuel management, telematics, Albert IQ™ (our proprietary vehicle and driver monitoring platform), administrative and driver fleet management, toll management, risk management, registration renewals and DOT compliance. We can help you a little, a lot, or somewhere in between. Your choice. We are one of the top 10 fleet management companies in the country, proudly rooted in Cincinnati, Ohio, and happily serving fleet clients in any industry across North America.
