Responsibilities:- Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and output targets are met on your shift.
- Plan and prioritize work based on production schedules, customer demand, and available resources.
- Assign, coach, and develop production employees to build a strong, reliable, and engaged team.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction.
- Monitor key performance metrics like efficiency, scrap, downtime, and safety, taking action when trends arise.
- Partner with maintenance, quality, shipping/receiving, and planning teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and machine operating procedures at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading hourly production teams, preferably in a multi-shift operation
- Continuous improvement mindset; actively working toward or willing to obtain Lean or Green Belt certification
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and shop-floor problem solving
- Ability to coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable in a respectful, hands-on way
- Comfortable using basic data and reports (KPIs, production numbers, downtime, scrap) to drive decisions. Proficiency in MS Office and strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Openness to working 2nd or 3rd Shift.
