AES a division of Lennox, was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation.  We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer.  These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors.  Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide.  AES has 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.

What Drives Success

The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing manufacturing operations within a shift or group of production lines, ensuring achievement of volume, quality, and cost targets. This role oversees daily operations, manages personnel actions, and ensures efficient use of resources to meet production goals.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing operations for assigned shift or production lines.
  • Ensure production targets for volume, quality, and cost are consistently met.
  • Supervise and lead hourly employees, including personnel actions and daily direction.
  • Maintain detailed logs of shift operations.
  • Prepare daily timesheets, production summaries, overtime, and downtime reports.
  • Inspect products to verify adherence to production specifications.
  • Review production schedules and allocate material and manpower resources effectively.
  • Assign employees to maximize efficiency and output while maintaining quality standards.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements, including materials, equipment, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate reports, records, and documentation of production activities.
  • Train new employees on operational procedures, safety standards, and company expectations.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and experience considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing or production experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a production environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism.
  • Proven track record of performance and reliability.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to changing production demands, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation, product quality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Ability to train and onboard employees, promote continuous improvement, and support operational excellence initiatives.
What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $68,000 - $89,250 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.


Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.


Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, and 10 paid holidays.
