- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage and coordinate team activities, providing guidance and support to production staff.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
- Serve as a key member of the Core Team, collaborating with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve any production issues.
- Conduct performance evaluations, issue corrective counselling and provide training in coordination with the Human Resources department
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Relevant certifications in production management or lean manufacturing are an asset
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 1-2 years in a lead hand role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze production data.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.
- Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management systems.
