Job Summary 
 
Overseeing the daily operations of a specific production line, ensuring efficient workflow, safety compliance, and quality control while meeting production targets. Managing production employees, coordinating the use of materials and machinery, and implementing procedures to optimize productivity.   
  
Responsibility 
 
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.  
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.  
  • Manage and coordinate team activities, providing guidance and support to production staff.  
  • Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity.  
  • Serve as a key member of the Core Team, collaborating with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve any production issues.  
  • Conduct performance evaluations, issue corrective counselling and provide training in coordination with the Human Resources department 
 
Academic/Educational Requirements 
 
  • Completion of secondary school is required  
  • Relevant certifications in production management or lean manufacturing are an asset  
 
Required Skills/Experience 
 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 1-2 years in a lead hand role.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze production data.  
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.  
  • Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management systems.
