SUMMARY
To provide leadership and direction to subordinate employees assuring compliance with Company procedures and policies. Directs employees to manufacture products in accordance with food safety regulations and policies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Directs and coordinates the activities of all subordinate personnel to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing product and employee complaints and resolving problems.
- Ensures the effective scheduling of machines, equipment and personnel.
- Monitors attendance, overtime, and equipment efficiency, to ensure compliance with company policies and all government regulations.
- Ensures full compliance with all quality assurance standards.
- Ensures full compliance with company prerequisite programs, (allergens, hold/release, food security, GMPs, etc.)
- Makes regular inspections to ensure that the facilities and equipment are in compliance with recognized standards and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to develop, train and supervise any employee within the organization.
- Directly supervise production subordinate employees in the production department.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies, OSHA regulations and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing product and employee complaints and resolving problems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have 3+ years of plant supervisory / management experience with a manufacturing industry.
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing and Supervisory role within a Perishables Industry.
- Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred;
