The Production Supervisor is responsible for the daily leadership of manufacturing operations within an assigned production area. This role directly supervises hourly production employees while partnering with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, Materials, Maintenance, and the Value Stream Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time execution of customer demand.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience supervising production teams in contract manufacturing or complex industrial manufacturing environments. This individual understands how to balance people, materials, equipment, and production schedules while continuously improving throughput, quality, and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Supervise hourly employees across assigned manufacturing departments.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, tooling, and materials to maximize productivity.
- Conduct daily production meetings to communicate safety, quality, staffing, and production priorities.
- Monitor manufacturing performance and remove barriers impacting production.

- Partner with Quality to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
- Verify manufacturing documentation and work instructions are followed.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Contract Manufacturing or complex industrial manufacturing.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
