As a Production Supervisor, you will lead daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time manufacturing while meeting quality and operational standards. You will guide continuous improvements in safety, productivity, equipment performance, and process optimization to support overall plant performance and customer satisfaction.
You will direct report to Plant Operation Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage all production activities to ensure the products are produced according to specifications, work instructions, good manufacturing practices and delivery on time.
- Maintain discipline and well behavior of production team.
- Ensure the rules of tidiness are respected and implemented according to 5S standards.
- Be the workshop leader for optimizing the quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Guide Logistic, Production and QC team to meet production schedule and customer delivery commitments.
- Plan and coordinate with the related departments (QC, Procurement/Technical/Supply Chain/Maintenance) to implement the preventive maintenance activities of all machines/equipment in the plant.
- Monitor KPIs performance such as OEE/Cycle time/AMU (Absolute Material Utilization) and make weekly report
- Guide safety improvements and risk reduction in all paint processing area following life critical rules.
- Develop and implement processes to improve paint processing, including quality, setup time and cost.
- Develop and recommend manufacturing process for new product and intermediate and manage the manufacturing process (Review, implement and recommend manufacturing process for scale up)
- Review the current manufacturing process and recommend and implement revision of the process.
- Continuous improvement in manufacturing process for a process with 1st time right outcome
- Considerable creativity and initiative is required providing process troubleshooting support to coating processes and implement countermeasures.
- Participate in CAIR / Quality Failure corrective actions driving year over year continuous improvements.
- Review and manage the production equipment to improve operating performance.
- Preserve the ISO 9001 standards and contribute to Internal Audits.
- Analyze the measurement data and provide improvements through using of statistical analysis.
- Guide process simplifications / equipment improvements to improve overall paint manufacturing process.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
3. Good command in English language.
5. Lean Six Sigma qualifications will be an advantage.
6. Management experience in manufacturing environments, including Paints, Chemicals, Food, Plastics, and Packaging industries within multinational/foreign-owned companies.
