Valmet is looking for a Production Supervisor capable of overseeing covering service and manufacturing operations at the plant in accordance with company practices and goals. The ability to organize project information, parts and materials while maintaining delivery schedules. Maintaining a high level of quality initiative provided through the material and manufacturing process according to the customer’s needs.
Directs workforce by supervising employees to produce a quality product in a profitable and timely manner.
Maintain all plant equipment to OEM specifications and OSHA regulations.
Standard operations include check in process and completed work, assuring that shipping dates are met as scheduled, making recommendations for improvements and assuring that global guidelines are being followed.
Implement changes and follow up to maintain an efficient flow of production
Recommend and start up new tools and equipment, troubleshoot and improve as appropriate for production installations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Generally required a minimum of 5 years' of relevant manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of machine tool and fabricating operations with a good mechanical aptitude.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
