Job Purpose 

Support the execution of production plans by creating detailed weekly production schedules for manufacturing lines and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability of materials and packaging.  

Responsibilities 

Production Scheduling 

  • Prepare detailed weekly production schedules by shift and by production line/machine for the current production week and n+1 & n+2 weeks. 
  • Coordinate with the Planning team to align production schedules with material and packaging availability.
  • Adjust production plans as required to ensure smooth execution and minimize disruptions. 
  • Apply production planning principles and performance standards such as equipment utilization, production efficiency, workforce allocation, and changeover optimization. 
  • Monitor daily and weekly production progress and prepare performance output reports. 
  • Digital applications to enhance operational performance, simplify work processes, eliminate losses, and support continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Lead the deployment and sustainment of Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) methodology within assigned pillar and plant areas. 

Cross-Functional Coordination 

  • Work closely with Planning, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure materials are available and production plans can be executed as scheduled. 
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to address material or packaging shortages and revise production schedules when necessary.
  • Support the implementation and operation of digital inventory and warehouse management initiatives.
  • Coordinate with logistic team to ensure pertinent loading container time.  

Master Data & System Management 

  • Maintain and update product master data and related information in ERP and other operational systems. 
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across planning, inventory, and production systems. 

Other Duties 

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, workplace organization activities, and quality programs. 
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor or department manager. 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related fields. 
  • 1 year+ of experience in production scheduling or related fields. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools. 
  • Basic English communication skills. 
  • Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP) is an advantage. 
  • Good communication and stakeholders management skills. 
  • Proactive, flexible and able to perform in a fast-changing environment. 
  • Eager to learn and continuously improve.
