Job Summary

As a Production Scheduler, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of production across multiple facilities. You’ll have the opportunity to build and manage forward-looking schedules, anticipate supply risks, and collaborate across teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Your work will directly support operational continuity and customer satisfaction by aligning production plans with business priorities.
Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a rolling 3-month finite production schedule for assigned plants, balancing material availability, plant capacity, and business priorities
  • Partner closely with production teams to communicate schedule updates, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback on schedule attainment
  • Identify constraints and bottlenecks, and collaborate with supply planning and cross-functional stakeholders to develop proactive solutions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date planning master data within scheduling systems
  • Act as a key point of contact for sales, customer service, and manufacturing, providing timely updates and production lead times
  • Monitor and communicate changes in demand, disruptions, or supply risks to planning, procurement, and raw materials teams
  • Leverage data and business intelligence tools to generate insights and deliver regular performance reporting

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, APICS (CPIM), or equivalent experience in production planning or scheduling
  • 5+ years of experience in production scheduling or supply planning
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or a fast-paced manufacturing environment is considered an asset
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP and data analytics tools is an asset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment

The compensation for this position is between $70,800 and $88,500 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Skills Required
