Position Overview:

As a Production Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our boat manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and oversee production activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Enter & maintain lamination starts in OBMS, per the production projection

  • Maintain line rates & spray sequence based on mold rotation & availability.

  • Review sales orders for accuracy, option compatibility, and special instructions

  • Create weekly production schedule for all applicable departments

  • Create & distribute Hard Copies & HIN Plates

  • Load & sequence Shop Floor starts

  • Process order change requests, follow order change approval process, and update hard copies accordingly

  • Maintain ATS dates in OBMS

  • Maintain Process Days in OBMS

  • Create & maintain monthly Available to Ship list

  • Verifies daily production

  • Perform weekly WIP audit & report

  • Perform other duties, as required

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3+ years of experience with production scheduling and planning

  •  Ample experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel required

  • Experience with AS400 / OBMS systems required

  • Experience with Shop Floor, Profound, and other MES systems a plus

  • Experience with financial systems a plus

  • Experience in boat manufacturing or complex platform manufacturing (aerospace) a plus

  • Ability to think and react quickly and remain flexible a must

  • Strong capability for logical and analytical thinking a must

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work overtime and adjust work schedule as needed

The hiring range for this position is $62,800 - $90,500 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
