Description
DRS RADA Technologies, a leading defense company developing and manufacturing life-saving radar systems, is seeking an experienced Production Quality Engineer with a proven track record in leading failure investigation processes for its manufacturing site in Beit Shean.
Responsibilities:
- Lead quality investigations for failure events and non-conformities, including root cause analysis and driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct internal audits, including familiarity with aerospace standards, and track and monitor identified gaps.
- Analyze data and present trends and statistics on an ongoing basis.
- Develop improvement plans and monitor their implementation and effectiveness.
- Work cross-functionally (R&D, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing) with products in the NPI phase.
- Prepare presentations and lead meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
- Take overall responsibility for quality processes in military product manufacturing, including FMEA and MRB handling.
- Read and interpret engineering specifications and technical drawings at a high level.
- Utilize computer applications effectively, including presentations, with clear and concise communication in English.
- Degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, or Practical Electronics Engineering (technological background – advantage).
- At least 2 years of experience in quality roles (Quality Engineer or Quality Team Lead).
- Background in electronic and mechanical assembly environments.
- Familiarity with aerospace standard AS9100 – advantage.
- Experience leading failure investigations with multidisciplinary teams.
- High level of English – mandatory
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and presentation tools; ability to prepare and deliver professional training materials in Hebrew and English.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and close tasks effectively.
- Ability to read and understand test documents, technical specifications, and drawings – mandatory.
- Ability to write clear and concise procedures and work instructions.
- Familiarity with IPC standards for electronics and mechanics – advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and ability to work across multiple interfaces.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment, with willingness to work overtime.
- Full-time, on-site position.
