Production Quality Engineer (100%)

Starting date: as soon as possible

We are looking for a skilled, hands-on, and detail-oriented Production Quality Engineer to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Head of Quality, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our components and products meet the highest quality standards throughout the whole lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to product excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Your role:

As a Production Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving quality issues across the production line, from daily debugging to root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Working directly on the shop floor, you will work closely with Production and Methods, but also Product Life Management (PLM) and R&D teams to drive product and process improvements. Ultimately, you will contribute to reducing failures and continuously enhancing the reliability and quality of our products. 

As a key quality referent on the shop floor, you will support production teams, capitalize on failure knowledge, and ensure effective resolution of recurring issues.

The role requires a practical, flexible approach and a strong ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

What you will own:

  • Conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods (5 Why, Ishikawa, Pareto, etc.) and implement corrective/preventive actions to improve the reliability of the products
  • Support daily production line debug activities to ensure drones and subassemblies meet quality standards and production targets
  • Propose and participate in continuous improvements initiatives both internally and externally to increase the quality and the product, focused on yield, efficiency, reliability, and process stability
  • Monitor quality production KPIs and quality metrics such as defect rates, rework, scrap, etc, …
  • Collaborate closely with the Method, PLM and R&D departments to validate and implement Product/Process changes and improvements
  • Participate in the implementation of new testing methods or equipments in the production area
  • Perform in-process inspections and final quality checks on mechanical, electrical, and electronic assemblies
  • Participate in the root cause analysis of customer’s return parts.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document quality issues in the ERP/CRM (Odoo)
  • Collaborate with operators and technicians to provide practical quality support and promote best manufacturing practices
  • Promote a quality-first mindset and act as an ambassador across operations

Requirements

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (electronics, mechatronics or similar)
  • First experience in Quality or in a manufacturing environment (TQ1/TQ2 certification is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and systems (PCBAs, sensors, etc.) 
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Ability to work with digital tools and new technologies (Office Suite, vibe coding, AI assistant, etc.)
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
  • Responsible, autonomous, and rigorous, with a flexible and team-spirit working style
  • Curious and eager to learn new concepts, skills, and tools to enhance performance and efficiency

Skills Required
