The Planning Team Manager leads the production planning team for the Specials department, overseeing products such as syrups, ointments, and injections. The role ensures efficient, timely production planning aligned with manufacturing capacities and customer requirements. It coordinates operational planning with strategic planning, defines processes and KPIs, monitors team performance, and drives continuous improvement. The manager actively collaborates with production, logistics, procurement, other internal departments, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and develop the operational production planning team.
- Set objectives, monitor performance, and conduct development discussions.
- Ensure onboarding and training of new employees.
- Support recruitment and continuous skill development of the team.
Operational Planning:
- Contribute and oversee the preparation of short-term and long-term production plan.
- Coordinate operational production planning and optimize planning processes.
- Ensure alignment with manufacturing capacities and customer requirements.
- Maintain and develop planning systems and tools (including 3M MPS and MOQ settings).
Processes, KPIs and Continuous Improvement:
- Lead and participate in projects to improve planning processes.
- Identify weaknesses and propose improvement measures.
- Support SCM strategy development and monitor/report key KPIs.
- University degree in technical or economic field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning or supply chain management.
- At least 1 year of experience in team leadership.
- Advanced knowledge of planning tools (e.g., SAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Active English language skills at B2+ level
