Do you have what it takes to be a Production Planner and help ensure we mould the right elements for the LEGO sets that children love?
As a Production Planner, you will lead efforts to plan and schedule the right elements for our moulding operations, delivering the high-quality components that go into the LEGO boxes kids adore.
Core ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage detailed scheduling plans and inventory levels.
Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for production orders.
Keep detailed scheduling plans up to date and continuously optimized on a daily basis.
Maintain and improve the tools, systems, and processes related to detailed scheduling and Master Production Schedule activities.
Update the Master Production Schedule while optimizing key performance indicators, such as changeovers, excess inventory generation, airfreight usage, bottlenecks, and overall feasibility.
Optimize inventory levels to ensure production plan feasibility and minimize excess and obsolete materials.
Report key performance indicators on time.
Build and maintain effective collaboration with partners, customers, and colleagues in both local and global environments.
Learn, implement, maintain, and continuously improve tools and processes in line with the LEGO Continuous Improvement Philosophy.
Promote simplicity, consistency, and improvements across supply chain processes.
Perform other tasks as assigned by your manager.
The purpose of the LMV Component Planning Team is to delight customers by delivering the right components to the right warehouses every time. We achieve this by fully leveraging our core capabilities (Operation Mode and Component Planning Processes) through effective and efficient management of production and inventory (for both elements and raw materials).
Do you have what it takes?Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, and inventory management within a manufacturing plant — especially one with equipment and/or material capacity constraints.
Strong understanding of manufacturing organizations and interdepartmental relationships in local and global environments.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Baan, or similar), advanced MS Excel, and MS Access.
Advanced oral and written Vietnamese and English skills.
