The Role
The Production Planner manages and oversees the production schedule.
What you will be responsible for:
- Plan and manages production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of all customer orders.
- Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
- Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
- Expediting and prioritizing job orders with Project Managers.
- Coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
About you:
- You have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- You have at least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- You have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- You have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- You have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
