JOB OVERVIEW

The Production Planner is responsible for the daily planning, follow-up and optimization of the demand required to support the production deliverables. Main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordination and optimization of production workflow for one or multiple production areas 
  • Analyze production factors such as capacity, cycletimeand urgencies to ensure production plan achievement 
  • Determiningmanpowerand equipment to cover production demand 
  • Developing standardized, custom reports as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 
  • Support the team in capacity modelling and production analysis. 
  • Supportadditionalad hoc projects, initiatives, and business needs as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-year experience or equivalent 
  • Organized, results-driven with great problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and computer skills arevery usefulfor the role 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office and ERP systems 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to forge ties and build relations between colleagues 
  • Rigor and attention to detail 
  • Advancedproficiencywith MS Office Suite 
  • Must be bilingual (French and English) (written,readand spoken).

Job Demands:

Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, or equivalent combination
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingual proficiency in written, read, and spoken French and English
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to build effective workplace relationships
  • Ability to stand, walk, drive, climb, bend, and stoop in a shop environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and manipulate up to 100 pounds with assistance
