JOB OVERVIEW
The Production Planner is responsible for the daily planning, follow-up and optimization of the demand required to support the production deliverables. Main responsibilities will include:
- Coordination and optimization of production workflow for one or multiple production areas
- Analyze production factors such as capacity, cycletimeand urgencies to ensure production plan achievement
- Determiningmanpowerand equipment to cover production demand
- Developing standardized, custom reports as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Support the team in capacity modelling and production analysis.
- Supportadditionalad hoc projects, initiatives, and business needs as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-year experience or equivalent
- Organized, results-driven with great problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills arevery usefulfor the role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office and ERP systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to forge ties and build relations between colleagues
- Rigor and attention to detail
- Advancedproficiencywith MS Office Suite
- Must be bilingual (French and English) (written,readand spoken).
Job Demands:
Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, or equivalent combination
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual proficiency in written, read, and spoken French and English
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to build effective workplace relationships
- Ability to stand, walk, drive, climb, bend, and stoop in a shop environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and manipulate up to 100 pounds with assistance
