Export Operations Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY
As an experienced member of our Export Operations team, you will independently manage our export and trade operations, including;
- Managing export orders from overseas customers,
- Preparing and reviewing export shipping documents (invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, etc.),
- Determining specifications of export-related packing materials,
- Arranging international transportation and negotiating with forwarders,
- Managing customs clearance and ensuring export control / trade compliance, and ensuring on-time delivery to overseas customers.
You will communicate in English with overseas customers.
REQUIREMENTS
This position is open to experienced candidates only. The following qualifications are required:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in export / trade operations, including export documentation and customs procedures (manufacturing or automotive industry preferred).
- Solid working knowledge of export customs clearance, INCOTERMS, and trade documents such as commercial invoice, packing list, B/L, and certificate of origin.
- Practical knowledge of export control regulations (security export control) and trade compliance.
- Experience handling FTA / EPA preferential origin and HS code classification.
- Business-level English, both written and verbal, for daily communication with overseas customers.
- Strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to work independently and resolve issues proactively.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure compliance with customer’s delivery date.
- Ensure accuracy of export documentation and compliance with customs and export control regulations.
- Proactively identify and resolve trade and logistics issues.
- Make great effort to meet customer’s request.
PREFERRED (Plus)
The following are considered a plus:
- Experience using an ERP system (e.g., SAP) for export and logistics operations.
- TOEIC 600 or above, or equivalent English proficiency.
