The Production Scheduler / Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery on our site in Lelystad. This role manages production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule production orders across multiple lines, ensuring optimal utilization and adherence to delivery targets (OTMIS/OTIF).
  • Continuously review and adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, production issues, and material availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast product demand to maintain appropriate supply levels.
  • Analyze operational data (e.g., performance, efficiency, cycle times) and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, sales, customer service, logistics) to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
  • Provide regular updates in production meetings on schedules and plant performance.
  • Support product lifecycle activities including introduction, modification, and discontinuation of SKUs.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • Completed degree, preferably in Logistics, Business Management or equivalent
  • First experience in scheduling, supply chain, or operations preferably but not mandatory
  • Basic knowledge of production planning and supply chain processes.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Dutch
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong PC skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and assertiveness.
  • Strong collaboration skills across functions and teams.
