About the Role

At ARX Robotics, we build autonomous ground systems designed for the world’s most demanding environments. Turning these designs into reality requires a production plan that is as robust and intelligent as our technology. As our Production Planner, you will be the central architect of this process, ensuring our platforms are manufactured efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard.

Reporting to the Head of Production, you will own the data, processes, and systems that connect our entire manufacturing ecosystem. You’ll work closely with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales to create transparency and build a scalable foundation for growth. This is a critical role for a data-driven expert who wants to make a tangible impact in a fast-growing, deep-tech company.

What You’ll Build
  • A robust and scalable production planning process within SAP, optimizing everything from master data and bills of materials to routings and planning parameters.
  • Data-driven production and capacity plans that balance material availability, delivery deadlines, and resource utilization to maximize efficiency.
  • A reliable demand forecast, created in close partnership with Sales, Project Management, and internal teams to align production with market needs.
  • Actionable insights from production KPIs such as OEE, lead times, and on-time delivery, using BI tools to visualize performance and drive improvements.
  • Proactive strategies to identify and mitigate bottlenecks, risks, and structural weaknesses in our production flow before they become problems.
  • Clear, data-backed recommendations and scenario analyses that guide management decisions and shape the future of our production capabilities.
What You Bring
  • A degree or advanced vocational training in Production, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • Several years of hands-on experience in production planning, work preparation, or production control, ideally within a high-tech manufacturing environment (such as automotive, machinery, or robotics).
  • Deep expertise in SAP for production planning (PP/MM), with a solid grasp of bills of materials, assembly structures, and material requirements planning.
  • A strong affinity for data and process, with proven experience analyzing complex production metrics and using BI tools like Power BI to create clarity.
  • A natural ability to collaborate across functions, working effectively with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management to translate business goals into a production reality.
  • A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset, combined with a strong sense of ownership and the confidence to make data-driven decisions.
  • Professional fluency in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level or higher) to navigate our cross-functional and international environment.

Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
