We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Production Planner to support the efficient and compliant manufacturing of diagnostic instruments and service parts. In this role, you will ensure production schedules align with customer demand, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. You will play a key part in maintaining operational efficiency, minimizing delays, and supporting new product introductions in a regulated environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production schedules for medical instruments in alignment with sales forecasts, inventory targets, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with procurement, engineering, sales, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

  • Monitor production progress and adjust plans to resolve delays, shortages, or capacity constraints.

  • Own the Heijunka process and ensure that all the required raw materials are supplied to the right place at the right time for manufacturing.

  • Analyze historical data and trends to improve forecast accuracy and overall production planning efficiency.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in production planning within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Strong skills in Excel or data visualization tools and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QAD).

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory; fluent German is considered a nice-to-have.
