Operations ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Preparing annual production budget, overseeing progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.
- Developing and executing plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
- Ensuring that Four Quadrants (4Q) program training and methods are implemented in the organization.
- Providing support as required, during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities.
Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Electrical engineering (should be full-time)
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in production planning, execution, and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while monitoring KPIs such as OEE, productivity, and cycle time
- Expertise in process control, quality management, and First Pass Yield (FPY) improvement with hands-on experience in CAPA implementation and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance
- Strong background in capacity expansion, equipment commissioning, factory layout optimization, and establishing scalable manufacturing processes for business growth
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence initiatives with demonstrated ability to reduce cycle time, costs, and process waste while driving automation and digitalization
- Strong leadership capabilities in team management, safety and EHS compliance, supply chain coordination, and SAP-based production planning with a commitment to Zero Harm culture and continuous improvement
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
