Job Title- Production Manager

Location- Goa.

Main Responsibilities-

Planning and scheduling: Production Planning and Scheduling. Receive products requirement plan from supply chain, plan, execute, interact with cross functional departments for communicating requirement for completion of plan, allocate jobs to various job centers, monitor daily activities, plan changeovers, maintain adequate WIP levels and document for all products manufactured at Goa in order to achieve scheduled production with optimum resources.

New Product Introduction at Goa: Assist and lead in transfer process from mother plant, Initiate manufacturing activities all required activities at site, BOM preparation, SAP recipe creation, make schedule batches, make reports, seek approval from mother plant, validate manufacturing and ensure release as per plan to successfully transfer products to the Goa site. Ensure the registration of the products.

Training and development: Train and help subordinate to implement GMP/HSE systems and development of people. Ensure zero LTI/IWLT as per site KPI. Training to the executive and assistant mana er for there development.

Implement Process Excellence and Projects: Improve processes, cycle time, yields, optimum utilization of capacity in order to improve cost of goods manufactured. Periodic review of the in process parameters, stage wise yield and losses, quality parameters from APR during robust process meet. Action plan in co-ordination with other team members to improve the process quality and productivity .

cGMP Systems: Ensure that the products are manufactured and stored as per the requirements, ensure implementation of the quality system, Good documentation practice for BMR, BPR, logbooks and Log cards, ensure that the manufacturing records are evaluated by authorized personnel, maintain the department, premises and equipment, ensure validation status of the plant & ensure initial and continual training of the department personnel in order to obtain the required quality in the product. Preparation and periodic review of SOP, batch document preparation. Ensure the all employees follow the Data integrity principles and routine training on Data integrity . Ensure the adherence of GMP.

HSE: Adherence to all health safety & environmental aspects as required by company policies and procedures.

Desired Experience and Qualification:

  • Minimum 10 years of Experience in Pharma manufacturing (OSD)
  • Bachelors/ Master of Pharmacy or master’s in science
  • Production & Operation management expertise with good command of performance KPI and budget setting, monitoring and goal achievement, incl. Lean and Supply Chain principles
  • Thorough knowledge of EHS requirements as well as of cGMP and Quality regulations
  • Strong track record in managing and developing medium/ large scale teams
  • Good exposure to change management and handling unionised workforce
  • Good practice & understanding of new technologies & digital tools (including data analytical tools)
  • Experience in a cross-functional role (e.g., Quality, Opex, Engineering and Maintenance) is a plus

Skills Required
