Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead plant production operations by supervising leadership teams and coordinating production activities to meet safety, quality, and performance targets. You will ensure alignment of materials, equipment, and staffing to support efficient production flow while driving continuous improvement and maintaining a safe, compliant manufacturing environment. 

A Taste of Your Responsibilities 

  • Ensure food safety and product quality standards are consistently met. 
  • Allocate labor and resources to meet production schedules and operational priorities. 
  • Maintain compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements and company policies. 
  • Lead production teams and supervisors, providing direction, driving accountability, and ensuring achievement of performance targets. 
  • Ensure effective workforce training and development to strengthen team capability. 
  • Develop workforce capability by coaching leaders, identifying talent, supporting succession planning, and fostering employee growth and engagement. 
  • Partner with other departments to support equipment reliability and operational efficiency. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve processes. 
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment across all production areas. 
  • Monitor and report production, labor, and operational metrics to leadership. 

Ingredients Required for Your Success 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience, food manufacturing preferred. 
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong operational leadership, communication, and team development skills. 
  • Demonstrated success solving production, process, operational, and staffing challenges. 
  • Experience working in a plant-based or industrial environment. 
  • Experience leading through frontline supervisors and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency using production metrics and data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Physical Requirements 

More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation 

Annual Base Salary: $82,000.00 - $105,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
