We are now accepting applications for the following position:

PRODUCTION MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the production floor
  • Handle production scheduling, supervisor scheduling and shift assignments
  • Ensure the completion of hourly employee training including all regulatory, company based and safety
  • Chair the plant safety committee
  • Handle all productivity tracking and monitoring through plant specific tracking methods and Key Indicator reports
  • Lead, coach and develop team members
  • Handle ordering and tracking of purchases and linen
  • Conduct team meetings and training sessions for staff
  • Review and manage costs and expenses within the day-to-day operation of the plant
  • Oversee all accident investigations and corrective actions
  • Handle customer service and client support issues
  • Participate in client Linen Committees
  • Assist with the accurate billing and distribution of linen to end users

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with, and technical knowledge of, running a laundry plant
  • Previous laundry production experience required
  • Degree preferred, High School Diploma required
  • Understanding of methods of laundry processing including time and motion
  • Knowledge of health and safety and regulatory requirements in a production environment
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Word, Excel, email, and automated billing systems
  • Understanding of basic financials and P&L statement
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of universal precautions and basic washroom chemistry
  • Ability to handle a high-pressure production environment
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to develop relationships with all levels of the organization and customer base
  • Capable of understanding Key Indicators of the business and developing solutions to problems and issues
  • Leadership skills to engage and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve the desired goals and objectives of the organization
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills verbally and in writing
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Scheduling flexibility; able to work nights, weekends and public holidays.

Salary: USD$75,000 - USD$95,000 Per Hour

Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands Labour Act

Location: Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
