This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
 

• You will lead a team of Biochemists that manufacture bioconjugate components of immunoassay reagents
• You will support production scheduling, purchasing of externally sourced raw materials, and ensuring that production processes are completed expediently without sacrificing quality
• You will assist with problem solving and technical troubleshooting of conjugate manufacturing processes and associated equipment

• You have very good interpersonal skills and are able to effectively lead a production team as well as interface with external suppliers, internal technical stakeholders, and others in the customer environment and you will show team orientation, communication skills, and customer orientation
• You will demonstrate expertise in protein biochemistry, especially bioconjugation techniques
• You will utilize your expertise in size exclusion chromatography, including mastery of FPLC operation and troubleshooting
• You will perform manufacturing resource planning, especially familiarity with SAP PP and MM modules.  You will monitor key performance indicators for production timeliness and customer satisfaction and ensure Class A Manufacturing performance.
• You will have experience in Lean manufacturing and help promote Lean philosophy to improve productivity while also minimizing waste

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 5-8 years reagent manufacturing experience; including experience in a GMP/GDP environment
• Demonstrated leadership experience, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor

The base pay range for this position is:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
