Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Execution
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet customer demand.
- Ensure production output aligns with capacity and delivery commitments.
- Monitor and control production schedule adherence.
- Drive productivity improvement and optimize resource utilization (manpower, machine, materials).
- Improve OEE, reduce downtime, and increase line efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to reduce manufacturing cost per unit/ton.
- Ensure production complies with quality standards and food safety requirements (e.g., GMP, HACCP).
- Work closely with QA to minimize defects, rework, and customer complaints.
- Maintain consistency in product quality, especially for batch/process production (sauce/seasoning).
- Monitor and control raw material usage and yield.
- Reduce process losses, scrap, and rework.
- Manage production budget and improve cost efficiency (labor, utilities, materials).
- Lead and develop production team (~operators, supervisors).
- Manage manpower planning, shift allocation, and team performance.
- Build a strong team culture focused on performance, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and CI initiatives.
- Improve processes, flow, and line balancing.
- Support automation and process upgrades where applicable.
- Work closely with Maintenance, QA, Supply Chain, and R&D.
- Support new product trials, scale-up, and process validation.
- Ensure smooth coordination for raw materials and production readiness.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote safe working environment and reduce workplace incidents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably food industry
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge in production management, food safety standards, and process control
- Experience in cost control and productivity improvement
