As a Sales & Trading Assistant, you will support the day-to-day servicing of institutional clients and execution of client orders. You will engage with both domestic and international clients, collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, trading, research, operations, and technology), and help drive business outcomes through market analysis and operational excellence. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth pre-trade and post-trade operations, supporting product and process enhancement initiatives, and maintaining high standards of risk management and compliance. Your work directly impacts our client franchise and the firm’s reputation for excellence. This role offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to progressively build product knowledge and client responsibilities over time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to effectively service clients.
- Support senior sales in handling daily client requests and needs.
- Proactively learn about research, corporate access, and sales products to better serve clients.
- Communicate ideas and market intelligence to colleagues and clients frequently.
- Support client order execution through direct market access and algorithmic trading platforms
- Assist with pre-trade analysis, index constituent research, and trade processing
- Prepare and send trade recaps, termsheets, and market update summaries to clients
- Respond to client queries and macro-economic market research requests
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client and operational issues
- Prepare market content using news, views and JPM research
- Facilitate onboarding of clients for market products
- Support product development and IT initiatives to improve trading desk processes
- Ensure compliance with risk management, legal, and regulatory requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
