Key Responsibilities: Component Fabrication: Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand component specifications. Cut, shape, and form materials such as metal, composite materials, or plastics according to design specifications. Operate machinery, including CNC machines, press brakes, and cutting tools, to fabricate structural components. Assembly and Integration: Assemble fabricated components into larger structures or products, following assembly instructions and quality standards. Use hand and power tools to attach, fasten, and align parts, ensuring structural integrity. Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections and measurements to verify that components meet quality standards and tolerances. Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and inspection results. Complete production logs and reports as required. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with materials and equipment. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in manufacturing is a plus. Proven experience in manufacturing, particularly in structural components assembly. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with various materials and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team. Knowledge of safety protocols and manufacturing best practices. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials and components. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals. Physical dexterity for handling tools and materials.
