What You’ll Do
- Plan, define, and optimize manufacturing processes for UAV system production
- Translate engineering designs into practical, scalable production workflows
- Work with R&D to bring new products from prototype to production
- Create and maintain work instructions, assembly documentation, and technical procedures
- Identify inefficiencies and lead hands-on improvements in the production line
- Set up production workstations, tools, and equipment for new programs
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with quality and testing teams to ensure product standards are met
- Support supply chain and logistics teams with technical input on production requirements
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and increase efficiency
Requirements
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 years + of experience in a similar role within aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role, ideally in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes – mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and system-level builds
- Project planning skills and a knack for keeping timelines and teams aligned
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing and process optimization
- Solid understanding of technical documentation and work instructions
- Comfort working in a highly regulated environment with strict quality requirements
- Fluency in English
