What You’ll Do:
- You will execute the graphic adaptation of approved creative concepts across several consumer touchpoints including packaging, promotional materials, visual communications, eCommerce, social media, etc.
- · You will be responsible for any necessary color work and applying basic artwork trapping for a variety of different print techniques and suppliers.
- · Maintain organized files and documentation, including version control, asset libraries and production specifications.
- · Effectively integrate brand guidelines, regulatory, printing, and graphic specifications, correctly in all phases of artwork.
- · Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
Job Qualifications
· BA/BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or similar field.
· 2-5 years of full-time design adaptation or graphic production experience (outside of freelance work) preferably within a creative agency, design studio or in-house creative department, ideally with a focus on consumer packaging.
· A portfolio showcasing production artwork that demonstrates a proficient understanding of both print and digital media.
· Excellent understanding of Prepress and Print Industry standards and a familiarity with the 4/c process, to include, but not limited to: spot colors, varnish, foil, die cuts, deboss and/or embossing. Thorough understanding of file standards for print production (bleed, trapping, color separation, resolution, dot shapes, screen print angles, FM/Stochastic, plus exposure to a variety of paper and plastic substrates, etc.).
· Strong understanding of color theory and image optimization with abilities in both color correction and assembly skill sets.
· Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to justify your print technical choices with multi-functional partners. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback. Flexible in an environment of constant change.
· Disciplined with superior time and project management skills; possess the ability to set priorities and be accountable.
· Expertise in the latest graphics and business programs: Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) for Mac with fluent knowledge of Esko workflows required.
