Mars Snacking- Production Coordinator- Elizabethtown, PA
- Pay: Based on experience starting at $33.36/hour +
- This site manufactures DOVE chocolate
Current Shift Schedule (2026):
- Shift: 1st (Day)
- Schedule: Monday- Friday
- Hours: 6:30am- 3pm (flexible pending business needs)
Future Shift Schedule (2027):
Transition to a 12-hour night or day shift schedule (Further details will be provided)
Description of Role:
The Production Coordinator works with the Production Lead to manage the on-shift production team, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and output standards in a GMP food manufacturing environment. This role drives continuous improvement by developing and training operators to properly execute standards
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
- 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience training or coaching others in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in computer software’s including MS Office and email
Physical Requirements:
- Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
- Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
- Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
- Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certifications
- 5+ years’ experience in an automated manufacturing environment
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Wonderware and/or Weever
- Experience with TPM/Continuous Improvement Tools
What will your key responsibilities be?
- Train and coach operators and mechanics on executing standards
- Drive process efficiency on production equipment
- Act as back up for Production Lead
- Drive continuous improvement activities
- Experience in data collection and analysis
- Any ad hoc requests
