Job Purpose:  Complete batching responsibilities for Plant in a timely and thorough manner. Also record all inter-departmental transfers of shared SKU’ inventory items. Create and copy truss, panel and joist job packages for deliveries.

Job Duties:

  • Create cutting batches in Shop net, Board stretcher, and Hundegger for Panel Plant and Joist/LVL packages, in a timely and thorough manner.

  • Create bundle sheets for production, panel layout and bundle sheets for shipping, and Board stretcher picklists for panel blade cutting.

  • Monitor production create management reports as requested.

  • Create Joist and LVL Batch picklists, shipping lists (if separate from truss shipping list) for Joist/LVL packages.

  • Create necessary paper-flow cutting process, maintain inventory counts, project inventory needs based on reporting in production manager program.

  • Participates in inventory and month end close-out processes

  • Create and make copies of truss, panel and joist job packages for deliveries. Create copies days ahead of scheduled delivery in AppWright.

  • Conserves resources to accomplish job results.

Qualifications and Requirements: .

  • Is a team player.

  • Is detail oriented.

  • Computer skills in Microsoft suite.

  • Ability to learn new computer programs and batching routines.

  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

  • Must be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Current driver’s license or state issued identification.

  • 40+ hours weekly.

  • Good communication skills
