Production CoordinatorAbout your role:
As a Production Coordinator, you support a high-volume production floor by coordinating our Auto Inserter team and assisting with related production activities. You work closely with Production Generalists and equipment operators to set up jobs, monitor output, and perform quality checks. You help ensure that client work is completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with production standards and job specifications.
What you'll do:
- Operate equipment used in the auto insert production processes, including the insert machines, staging jobs for operators, and scheduling jobs on machines.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry to support job setup, tracking, and reporting, including documentation to our mail carrier vendors.
- Operate and monitor equipment to process work according to instructions and client expectations, including setting up and calibrating equipment per guidelines and job specifications.
- Troubleshoot to resolve machine and job-related problems, performing minor machine adjustments as required.
- Coach, train, assign, and check the work of Production Generalists to support daily production goals.
- Perform quality checks to verify output accuracy, confirm quantities produced, and document results according to procedures.
- Participate in cross-training activities to build depth across statement print, presort, and related production processes.
- Follow all safety, security, and compliance procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Experience you'll need to have:
- 2+ years of experience in a high-volume production, print, mail, or manufacturing environment operating equipment or similar machinery.
- 2+ years of experience operating a computer workstation to review instructions, enter data, or monitor job status.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet established deadlines.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to follow written instructions and verify work for accuracy.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to clearly share information with team members and leaders.
- Ability to work additional hours, including weekends and holidays, during peak periods such as month end, quarter end, and year end.
Experience that would be great to have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
- Experience providing informal guidance or peer support to colleagues in a production environment.
- Experience working in a continually changing, deadline-driven work environment.
How you'll work:
- You will work third shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
- This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
