At Conagra Brands, we're known for iconic brands like Reddi-wip®, Slim Jim®, Angie's BOOMCHICKPOP®, Chef Boyardee®, Swiss Miss® and more. We are hiring Production Associates to support our Duke's Meat Snacks operations at our Macomb, MI facility.
In this role, you'll work across various production and packaging areas, helping ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and productivity. Team members may be assigned to raw processing, packaging, equipment operation, or other production support functions based on business needs.
Shift: 6am-4pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 6am-6pm Tuesday and Thursday; 6am-4pm at least every other Saturday.
Location: 23 Mile Rd. and Hayes, Macomb MI
Pay: $17.50 + $0.50 raise after 90 days. Weekly paychecks.
Benefits start on day one of employment.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Work in meat processing and packaging operations to support production goals.
- Rotate through multiple production positions as needed, including raw processing, product handling, and packaging.
- Weigh ingredients and prepare recipes according to production specifications.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production and packaging equipment.
- Perform equipment setup, product changeovers, and basic operational adjustments.
- Inspect products to ensure quality, food safety, and customer standards are met.
- Complete production, quality, and operational documentation accurately.
- Support sanitation activities and maintain clean, organized work areas in compliance with GMPs and food safety requirements.
- Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and company policies while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and operational targets.
Ingredients Required for Success
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, food production, or packaging experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn production and packaging equipment.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and job responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 39°F to 44°F.
Physical Requirements

- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.

- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
