Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Condition material surfaces by abrasive blasting, grinding, sanding, polishing and cleaning operations.

• Apply/remove protective coverings and masking from stainless steel sheet, threads and other features used to mitigate damage during process operations or used for preservation of surface conditions.

• Assist with loading and removal of materials and subassemblies from process operation staging areas.

• Package materials, subassemblies and assemblies for local and/or long-distance shipment by palletization, banding, wrapping or other methods.

• Load and unload local and long-distance carriers.

• Clean, organize and maintain shop and office spaces.

• Assist with facility maintenance and janitorial activities.

• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0-2 years’ experience in fabrication shop environment
  • Ability to operate power tools in a safe manner
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals.  Employees must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.

Compensation:

The approximate pay range for this position is $$19.50-$21/hour. Please note that the pay range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.  Our complete benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; 401k plan with company match…all starting on day one!
