Position Summary: MacKenzie-Childs is seeking hands-on, detail-oriented individuals to join our Production team. This entry-level role supports multiple manufacturing areas including ceramics, furniture, and specialty production operations. Production Associates contribute to the creation, assembly, forming, finishing, and preparation of handcrafted home furnishings. Paid on-the-job training is provided. This role follows a 4-day work week (Monday – Thursday).
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)
- Assist with forming, molding, assembling, finishing, or preparing products across various production areas
- Use hand tools and equipment to shape, refine, or prepare materials
- Support production setup and breakdown activities
- Monitor product quality and ensure consistency to company standards
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
- Accurately record production and/or labor tracking data as required
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
Production Associates may be trained and cross-trained in multiple areas based on business needs and skill development.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities
QualificationsEducation and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred

Equipment Used: Hand tools and production equipment applicable to assigned department, computer for basic data entry, safety Equipment: PPE as required.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, crouch, kneel, bend, and perform repetitive hand motions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier items with assistance
- Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, inspections, and adjustments
