Job Summary
Ensures the company's facility needs are met by providing services and maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operations of all equipment. Maintenance and/or repair of machines, equipment, buildings, or property.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Reads work orders or receives and listens to oral instructions to determine work assignment.
- Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Cleans and lubricates parts of machinery.
- Installs and/or repairs wiring and electrical components.
- Paints and repairs woodwork and plaster.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in maintenance or repair.
Typical Training/Experience
- HS Diploma or GED, strongly preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
Environmental Job Requirements
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment.
